For the second year running CP Hire have agreed a multi-million pound deal to take supply of Mecalac site dumpers for their extensive fleet. The acquisition covers the entire range of four-wheel drive units in a variety of specifications. The range starts at the mobile and versatile 1 tonne hi-tip unit in a straight tip variant, and goes through to a number of 9 and 10 tonne machines many of which include swivel skips.
Added to the order are the ever-popular cabbed dumpers. Many interested parties in the construction industry see these higher specificated machines as the way forward. They offer increased protection to the operator and a safer working environment. Supply of the dumpers started in early January and will run through to June. CP Hire GB managing director John Rawnsley commented, “Mecalac appear to have taken the Terex brand of dumpers to a higher level with regard to reliability and operational performance. At CP Hire we can’t take chances when it comes to added volume purchases to our fleet. The testing we did with the latest Mecalac range will prove to be worth while I’m sure.”
