Work has recently started to create a much-needed link for cyclists and pedestrians from the seafront promenade in Swansea to Mumbles Road. Swansea Council are keen to continue creating new cycling infrastructure across many parts of the city, linking up different communities and enabling cycling to be considered a serious alternative to car use. A major CP Hire customer is working on the project. They have taken advantage of the availability of one of our Wacker Neuson 6 tonne cabbed dumpers keeping them safe and dry whilst enabling them to continue their work during any bad weather. Our cabbed-dumper range has all the benefits of a normal dumper whist providing a safe and dry environment for the operator.
The range of WN cabbed dumpers have benefits over the standard range. Allowing great vision whilst sat in the cab and benefiting from increased safety. The variants are offered in 3, 6, 9 and 10 tonne skip capacities. The drivetrain is hydrostatic which offers power when needed from a smooth transmission. Of course, like a standard dumper, these too are four-wheeled-drive; ideal for tough and boggy ground conditions.
