CP Hire’s Ongoing Reinvestment Plan

Year upon year, CP Hire GB is committed to reinvesting in new plant equipment and 2022 is no different. In the first half of this year, CP Hire will be introducing over 170 new items of plant equipment to the fleet.

Our aim is to always exceed customer expectations which is why our entire fleet yields an average age of just 2 years young, guaranteeing minimum downtime and maximum efficiency with all our products.

In recent years, CP Hire has gone from strength to strength, wherein 2019, we officially announced investing £3 million into the fleet. The following year we introduced a new line of wheeled excavators amongst a further 100 telehandlers. 2021 was paramount for us with the exclusive hire rights to the D’Avino 12 Tonne Swivel Dumper alongside an addition of Dual-View dumpers and Telehandlers to the ever-growing fleet.

2022 Caterpillar Backing

One of our biggest investments this year comes from Finning with the securement of up to 80 brand new CAT excavators to be distributed across our 5 depots. As seen on our LinkedIn page, plans for fleet launch is expected to commence as early as this month!

We sat down with Darren Bodio, the National Account Manager at Finning, to see what he had to say

“[CP hire] are just well respected. The way the business has been built is phenomenal and highly reputable.”

Acquisitions such as these make it particularly special knowing the affiliation and relationship we’ve built with CAT since our inception over 10 years ago.

With a large backing from our manufacturers and suppliers, we’re extremely excited to see our new CAT mini diggers land on sites across Great Britain over the coming months.

Micro-Excavator Securement

Going into 2022, we also announced a brand-new range of Kubota Micro Excavators – Ideal for those with small projects and perfect for limited site access.

The new Kubota K008-5, replacing the K008-3, is an accumulation of ongoing development and investment to improve the performance of micro excavators within the industry. Additionally, the adjustable track width reduces to as little as 700mm for doorway openings and provides more power thanks to the Kubota-designed Stage V engine.

Future Fleet Funding

And that’s just half of the story. Since all our plant is forecasted to arrive within the first half of the year, expect to see even more shiny kit land on-site throughout the entirety of 2022!

In the meantime however, you’ll be seeing, fresh from the factory, a wide variety of dumpers, telehandlers, rollers and excavators – all ready to hit the ground running.

To find out more, explore our expansive fleet further, or follow us on Facebook and LinkedIn to be the first to know when new plant arrives.
