Safety is of paramount importance throughout our industry and this is clearly reflected with our FORS certified accreditation. All our depots are Safehire accredited through the Hire
Association of Europe. Furthermore, we are also a Safe Contractor and Safety in Procurement qualified company.
All our depots go through a rigorous internal quarterly audit and we would welcome the chance to talk you through our process.
Carrying RISQS accreditation enables us to support trackside for the huge volume of rail infrastructure works over the next decade and beyond.

OUR ACHIEVEMENTS
Customer and operational safety are of paramount importance to us. We are committed to delivering service excellence in all its forms. By being members of construction trade bodies, it enables us to ensure conformity that not only satisfies ourselves but is a proven yard-stick from outside of our business too. We work closely with Hire Association Europe, our industry trade institution, planning various types of regulatory audits that are needed to pass their required levels of membership.
FORS BRONZE
Bronze accreditation confirms that we employ good practice and comply with the requirements laid out by the FORS Standard. This includes demonstrating dedication to driver and vehicle safety, combined with improving operating practices through effective monitoring of fuel and tyre usage.
FAST TRACK 100
The Sunday Times Fast Track 100 is an annual league table published in association with The Sunday Times newspaper in the UK, ranking Britain’s 100 private companies with the fastest-growing sales. In 2019, CP Hire ranked 47th with an annual sales rise of 65% over a 3-year period.
SAFE HIRE CERTIFICATE
Achieving SafeHire Certification is dependent upon successful assessment, and unlike other quality standards, onsite verification of members’ policies and management systems which include Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Health, Safety and Welfare, Occupational Health, Environment and Sustainability, Quality Business Risk, Insurance and Financial Control, Document Control and Data Protection and HR and Employment Law compliance.
SAFE CONTACTOR APPROVED
The SafeContractor scheme is a SSIP-approved health and safety assessment scheme for contractors who want to demonstrate that they’re taking responsibility for their legal health and safety requirements.
SAFEPQQ VERIFIED
SafePQQ is an extension of the SafeContractor health and safety accreditation scheme. It goes beyond health and safety to increase the visibility of our compliance and covers CSR topics such as finance, environmental, quality, equality, anti-bribery and GDPR.
HIRE ASSOCIATION EUROPE
HAE assists businesses, from sole traders to larger independent and privately owned organisations, by providing operational resources to support the hire industry.
RISQS
Buyers of products and services throughout the GB rail industry use RSSB RISQS as their supplier qualification service. We support Network Rail, Transport for London, passenger and freight operating companies, rolling stock organisations, main infrastructure contractors and many other buying organisations in the management of supply chain risk.

We have been recognised by FG50 for a number of years. Due to its enviable customer retention and the whole-hearted efforts of the wider CP Hire team we have been able to grow at a phenomenal rate. CP Hire has enjoyed a CAGR (compound annual growth rate) in excess of 40% for 7 years.
